I am a strength and mobility consultant. I am a coach in person, but online I consult. Occasionally, I will take a client online but most of my time is spent in person. I like to interact with people I’m helping be whoever they want to be.
I’ve seen a lot of ranges of people. Older, younger, athletic and non-athletic. This has allowed me to learn incredibly fast what works and what doesn’t.
I’ve finally created what will take you to your second prime.
Second prime is the peak performance you wish you had 10 years ago. The time in your life where you could play sports, run and enjoy more.
I’m sure you can still do those things now, but not without nagging pain.
Second primes are uncommon, but for some they’re achievable.
It’s best to understand that I help people build backwards from where aging has taken them.
We build your gas tank back up.
We build a bodyweight (light-loaded) exercise regimen.
We build athletic skills into your routine.
It takes time, but is easily scaled so you make fast progress.
Traditional methods leave you wanting more from your training.
They lack real-world carryover.
Take Gym-Goal Gina.
She is a master at the perfect rep, chasing gym mastery, but is too afraid to try new things outside of the gym.
She is always hunting for more complex exercises instead of applying the strength she’s earned.
Gains Ain’t Game.
If your gym-training doesn’t let you live the lifestyle you want, what are you training for?
Most trainers don’t integrate skills that carryover to your lifestyle.
If you haven’t skied since you were 20, you need to be reintroduced to strength training yes, but also side to side hopping and jumping and change of direction.
Your knees need to be tested, your ankles, hips and glutes need to be capable under lots of tension.
You can’t do that by hitting 225 on a trap bar deadlift.
You need the ability and capacity to move side to side.
Gym-Goal Gina never gets the joy of playing sports because her personal training is not optimized for her second prime.
Second Prime is all about finding your weak points, mastering range of motion, and adding athletic skills to get you on your way to playing sports better in your 30s & 40s than in your 20s.
Don’t be like Gina. Build your Second Prime so you can enjoy the lifestyle you’ve created.
